Hi there. Tsumutake is here. Today, I passed by Hiroshima Castle by bicycle so I saw many pinkish trees. Early blooming cherry blossoms are almost in full bloom. It has been one year since our daily life changed dynamically. Sakura season has come in Japan.

About Cherry Blossom(Sakura), there are ten or more species in Japan. The most famous Cherry blossom is “Somei-Yoshino”. It was crossed artificially in Edo era [1600-1868] and planted all over Japan especially during the high-growth period of the Japanese economy. We can see the trees here and there.

The best season is not yet come. Cherry blossoms are just opening here and there. Cherry blossom front is moving from south to north like a train ! I hope to eat, drink and talk outside in the near future like before.
