STEP 6. Make Your Photo Clearer

First, you can see the effect of sharpness function as seen in the photo below. Instagram prepares the sharpness function called SHARPEN.

I increased SHARPEN up to 100.

If you can not see the difference clearly, please enlarge the photos to check them.

CAN YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE ?

When you adjust sharpness, please check the sense of perspective of the photo. It makes details clear but it may loose the sense of perspective. Please see the photo below. This is the comparison between the upper part of original image and sharpened one.

**The original photo is on the top. You can see clearly the objects from a far on the lower photo**

If you take a photo, the objects which is close to you can be seen clearly and the objects which is far from you is blurry. But if you increase sharpness, both objects become clear. The original photo has a depth, but sharpened photo may loose its depth.

Check Camera Noise When You Increase Sharpness

When you increase sharpness towards dark photo, please check the noise. Because it increases camera noise, too. Your photo may become a noisy photo. Basically, we can not see things clearly at night. So you have to increase sharpness a little.
