YOU CAN MAKE YOUR PHOTO WARM OR COLD

In Instagram app, WARMTH function can make your photo warm or cold. Such a function is also called WHITE BALANCE or COLOR TEMPERATURE on other apps.

What are warm and cold colors?

Warm Colors

Colors which evoke warmth in people are red, pink, yellow and orange

These are the colors of sunshine, heat and fire. They show hot, energetic and cheerful images.

Cold Colors

It evokes cold such as blue, purple and green.

These colors remind us of ice, water, sea and forest. The moods of the colors are cold, cool, quietness and calmness.

I will explain WARMTH function with this photo.

1. MAKE YOUR PHOTO WARM

If you increase WARMTH, you can make your photo a warm image (reddish or yellowish image)

I set WARMTH to 80.

2. MAKE YOUR PHOTO COLD

If you decrease WARMTH, you can make your photo a bluish image.

I set WARMTH to -80.

Actually, WARMTH function changes White Balance of each photo. All the pixeles in your photo become warm (reddish or yellowish) or cold colors (bluish).
